Meghan Markle was reportedly referred to be “silly” by Princess Anne when the actress sought guidance from the assiduous royal early in her career. The advice has shown to be pretty accurate over time.
Royal analyst Neil Sean claims that when Meghan Markle joined the British Royal Family, Princess Anne, the Princess Royal, gave her some unfavorable counsel.
Sean asserted on his YouTube channel that Meghan asked Princess Anne for advice. He called Anne, who was well-known for her straightforward manner, a “no-nonsense” royal, very similar to her late father, Prince Philip.
“The Princess Royal told the Duchess of Sussex that being a member of the Royal Family is a job, not a fairy tale,” Sean said. Anne reportedly emphasized the importance of duty, punctuality, and thorough research for royal engagements. She also stressed the expectation of active involvement in supported charities.
According to Sean, Meghan was left “dumbfounded” by this advice. He further claimed that Meghan did not connect with Princess Anne’s approach and that Anne suspected Meghan wouldn’t stay with the monarchy long-term. It is important to note that this is based on commentary and not official confirmation from the Royal Family.
